The Defiant provides more than heat: it’s a skillfully crafted, timeless piece of American history. In fact, the last original Defiant Parlor Stove is located in the Smithsonian’s National History collection. Named over 40 years ago to “defy the wintery blast,” today’s Defiant does that and more.

EFFICIENT DESIGN
The top load design of these stoves makes them easier to fill to nearly 100% of their capacity — leading to longer burn times and greater heat output. Plus you won’t have to fill them as often. The top load design is also safer, virtually eliminating the escape of hot embers while loading.
EASY TO CLEAN
Exclusive swing-out ash pan allows you to cleanly remove ashes, even when stove is hot.
